File Types
Before uploading any images or artwork for printing at Big Posters you must check that the image or artwork file is one of the following file types:
- gif
- png
- jpg/jpeg
- bmp
Most modern day camera phones and digital cameras output one of the above formats. If you have a PDF that would like printing at big posters. You can convert the PDF to an image by using the export options in adobe reader. Alternatively, please contact us and we will be happy to help you through the process.
Dimensions
Next, you need to decide on the dimensions. Before uploading, always determine the dimensions of your poster design. It is better to set your poster dimensions in a poster format that big posters can print on. For templates of each poster, please see the below template files.
To use these templates, simply right click and 'Save Target As' or 'Save Link As' and save the to your computer, you can then use this to put your image or artwork in and upload to us.

Cropping
If the image requires cropping to fit onto the chosen poster, then we will warn you of this in the order preview process.
To download these templates, just open the link of the poster size you need, right click and select 'save image as...'. Once you've downloaded the template, open it up in any image editing software and place your poster design on top to see how much cropping would effect your poster.
